shading devices

Hi,

Under the glazing properties and shading devices, it seems possible to get a shading device to lower at a certain (eg 200W/m²) incident radiation.

In my model however, with this in operation, it seems to either be completely on or off for any percentage profile group (none, on continuously, working week).

In vista, the external incident solar flux definitely fluctuates above and below 200W/m².

Ideally this would work for an external shade (louvre, shutter).

Any ideas?

To see the benefit of shading devices i set them to on continuously and set the lower and raise to 1 and 2 w/m2 respectively. ie they are always lowered. I then turn it off to see it without shading. I do this because I too see no modulation of the devices but want to know the effect.

On external devices i draw them. I dont like the ext shading device tool. As I cant analyse its operation or at least I dont know how to analyse their operation.
