Hi,
I sometimes export IES geometry in 3D DXF format to produce graphics in other CAD packages.
The DXF exporter always rounds co-ordinates to 2 decimal places.
This is OK for square buildings drawn on a grid, but if part of a building is at an angle windows etc. end up in a different plane to the walls.
Would it be a big change to the coding to export with full accuracy?
Thanks
Ross

Hi Ross,
A very good point - I'll have a look to see if I can get this in for you. Shouldn't be difficult at all to be honest just need to increase the decimal places on the write (at each place it writes to the file). I'll fix it at 6 d.p.
I'll do the coding later today so you can expect to see this in the release scheduled for July.
Ta,
David.

Okay, that seems to have worked so subject to the QA police giving it the stamp of approval it'll be in the next Feature Pack.

Hi,
I've just had a play with this and it works fine now.
Thanks!
