Should 'System' and 'Auxillary Vent System' be the same?

Hi,
I have been checking a couple of models done by others and they have specified different systems for the 'main system' and 'auxiliary vent system'.
I was always under the impression these two should be kept the same.
The problem often occurs in rooms with radiators and cooling. Cooling can't be applied with 'Central heating using water: radiators', so it is intuitive to use this for the main system and set up a cooling system for the axillary vent.
In 2006 regs this used to bring up an error message. But in 2010 regs the cooling just gets ignored and details of the main system are unexpectedly taken.
Am I right in thinking these two shouldn't be different? If so why was the error message taken out?
