Ground-floor adjustment - Exact function

Hi there
I have been trying to figure out what exactly Ground-floor adjustment does, since it makes quite radical changes. I have the following questions:

- Does GFA include linear loss between foundation and wall?
- Using GFA, adjacent condition still need to be changed to a realistic temperature instead of outside temperature?
- Is the int/ext resistance from the foundation part of the GFA or not?
