Construct-DXF in a multi-storey building

Post by bertrandfabry »

Hi,

I'm working on a simulation project of a 30-storey tower. The first 10 levels are identical and I already assigned construction types in the Apache and Enviroimpact modules (external walls, internal partitions, etc.).

When I use the "Construct-DXF" command to build the 11th level, the construction types assigned in the first 10 levels for internal partitions are reset to default. This is very strange, as other construction types remain correctly assigned (external walls, windows, doors).

Any idea on how I could "save" my existing internal partitions' assignments when using "Construct-DXF"? I know I could use templates in Building template manager. In my case however, as I have different types of Internal Partitions, that wouldn't help.

Thx

I've never used the "construct dxf" tool, but you can pretty easily copy your 10th level and paste it to 11th, 12th, etc. and all of your assigned constructions and thermal templates will remain assigned. Just go to an elevation view and check your locks to make sure you're pasting to the correct elevation.
