FlucsDL Sky View Incorrect Test Results - Help!

Post by Herrington_Daylight »

Hello peeps!

After running the FlucsDL application, then selecting the "Sky View" option to load results for a No Sky Line Test I've found that the results in the results summary window or pdf export table of results contradicts the results shown in the model itself. If you look at the room in the model the NSL under filled contours (yellow/ black colours) is two thirds yellow, and the rear third of the room is black indicating there is no sky view in the rear part of the room. However when exporting results to pdf the table of results shows that 100% of the room has a sky view!?! This is not correct!

Under "analysis calculations" I turn the quality settings to max, No Margin (0.0), and under "Advanced" the only things ticked are "External room surfaces" and "surfaces from shading bodies" under the obstruct light/ surfaces tab menu. My grid sizes are 0.200 & 0.200 (internal), and 1.000 external. My working plane is set to 850m. I've tried changing the grid size settings for the test but that doesn't make a difference.

Any ideas??? ... I would attach screen shots but don't seem to know how on here!

Thanks very much! :)
