I am tring to simulate a very large and complex project
However, after i complete the simulation,
I have an issue with generating the heating and cooling report, as it mentions (the prgram is not responding)
I keep the program open for 48 hours and still counting

Please help me with any advise or comments

My computer Ram is16
And i am using ies 2014

Hi Mansour

I suspect this may be a memory issue. Although you have 16GB of RAM, IES is a 32 bit program which I think limits the amount Windows can allocate to it to 2GB.

If you press ctrl-alt-del while the report is generating you may be able to see how much memory IES is using and see whether it is maxing out.

Unfortunately I don't know of anything fixes for this issue so it may be one for the developers.

I put a hole on the external wall instead of a door.
