Independant Controller move Nodes.

Works in conjunction with ApacheSim to provide effective modelling of conventional/advanced HVAC systems, operation and control.

Independant Controller move Nodes.

Post by RossThompson87 »

Hi,

I am not massively familiar with Apache HVAC but have used it a fair amount.

When you select an independent controller you click three times to place the controller, sensor node and control node.

This works fine, but when you come to edit the system you can only move the whole thing.

Very often this isn't helpful and I end up taking a screenshot of the settings and putting in a new sensor.

Am I missing something? Or is this a limitation of the software?

IT would be much better if the three positions could be separately adjusted.

Thanks

Hi Ross
The capability to move sub-elements of a controller has been there for a while now, but I agree it may not be intuitive.
Whenever the controller (box) is the only network object selected, holding the Shift key down allows any of the three parts to be dragged to a new valid location.
