VistaPro Opening Arrows

Post by bootsam »

I cant seem to get the text for the flow rates etc to show up when using VistaPro Macroflo Arrows. Neither does the text in the legend appear. I checked the box within options to make it appear and have changed the arrows from flat, to square, to round etc. Nothing happens.Ive tried repositioning the text etc. What am I doing wrong?

I am sure you have enabled the Macroflo and have a correct opening profile for the windows.
You turn on the 3d Visual Analysis (Model Viewer).
You choose a room or more and set the time for checking at the bottom right date tab.

You then go to the Macroflo Arrows Tab and in the filtering tab select "For selected Rooms"
This will enable the arrows for the rooms you previously selected. If you change the time you will also see the values changes on the arrows.

Hope this will work.

Yes. I see the arrows change as i cycle through the dates and times but no text will appear adjacent to the arrows. Neither will any text appear alongside the legend in the top left hand corner. Everything else works except the text.

Why am I surprised that no-one from IES visit these forums to answer questions.

I experience the same issue.
The arrows are displayed, the text not.
Previous versions this worked correct. The new version seems to be faulty on this feature

Apologies. Was waiting for a developer to get back to me as it was ok when looking at a test model on my PC.

We believe this issue could be related to the machine you are running on Graphics card. Please check the following (you may wish to involve your IT administrator in this process):

1. Please check that your Graphics card matches the minimum requirements as detailed on this page of our website http://www.iesve.com/software/download- ... quirements

2. If it meets these requirements then open modelviewer and click on the OpenGL information button on the modelviewer toolbar (beside the toggle groundplane button). Confirm that Hardware Acceleration is switched on. If it is not on then you will need to switch it on to view the text on MacroFlo Arrows results viewer.

3. If Hardware Acceleration is on then the only other advice I can give is to ensure that the Graphics drivers are up to date, we have had users experience this problem in the past because they did not have the latest graphics drivers installed.

Piffle. I have a 2Gb Radeon with 100% up to date divers. Its OpenGL compliant. Your software needs fixing. I can run all other graphics intensive progs on this machine with no probs. Plus not only does your software not work neither does that link you provided. Par for the course....
