Ceiling Voids - Model or Not

Morning
Don't know if this is a modelling or Part L question really.
We are constructing a building for Part L purposes and I know some people do model ceiling voids separately, but is there anything that specifically states that when doing a dynamic Part L model the ceiling void must form part of the room and not modelled separately.
Under the EPC Convention it does state that ceiling voids must be ignored but I would imagine this is for an SBEM Model and not a full DSM simulation.
Any ideas or clarification on the above would be most helpful.
