Does the WINDOW BOTTOM HUNG open to inside or outside?

The window and opening types are linked to a look up table with coefficients of discharge that are used to approximate an equivalent free area and it's this free area figure that IES is ultimately using for its macroflo simulations. As far as I know, these tables are from experimental data but you may never find out if the "Bottom hung" window that was tested opened in or out.

In essence, I don't think Apache is detailed enough for such a distinction to matter. However, if your work is of a precise enough nature, it may be that a CFD analysis is more appropriate to answer whatever question you are trying to answer.
