how manage components (heat sources) in a connected spaces m

Post by ecoalejo »

HI, I'm trying to run a CFD simulation in a open office space, which is connected with other rooms by openings on the top of some walls to transfer air between them, it means is a large floor which have some small spaces with partitions but with some holes between them to interchange air, the model is shown in link below. in microflow I 've connected the spaces, cretate the internal aprtitions and imported the boundary data, but my question is:
the components to simulate the heat sources, must they be placed only on the parent room (largest) or in the small room connected also?
I'm not sure about this, in the boundary data imported, is it assuming the internal heat gain from all the space at the same time or just the largest room? ( in apache I selected all the rooms connected in the output options)
please I'm confused about this!!!
thanks

here the link to download the image from the model
