Partition Error - Invalid Space(s) After Division

Post by MatthewSteen »

I'm getting this error when trying to partition a space into new zones. Apologies if this question has been answered before. Thanks in advance.

Hi,

This can happen for any invalid geometry (whether before or after partitioning). Check there are no errors in the room you are trying to divide and also review where the cut you are making is. We most often find errors of this nature if the room wasn't modelled on grid and/or the start and end points of your partition aren't on the grid.

choose a reasonable grid and draw your spaces snapping to the grid rather than snapping to say a DXF and try the partition again
