Problem with surfaces

Post by Eric_Silva »

I have two problems that are known issues: Non-convex rooms and degenerate surfaces. How do I find these two so that I can fix them?

Hi Eric,

Presumably IES Tech Support team have acknowledged these as known issues in CBECC-COM?

Were they marked as being fixed in a future update of CBECC-COM? We're about to commence work on an interface for v3b so maybe that would help you?

We know that rooms can't be self-shading. And from what I can tell, there's a surface somewhere that only has 2 vertices. The big question I have is how do I figure out what surface / room I need to fix in order to proceed with the simulation. I already tried looking through the model to find these items, to no avail.
