Hi,
Is there a way to model a district cooling system similar to the district heating option?
I'm trying to model a building which taps into an existing CHW main but cannot determine the best way to model the cooling efficiencies.
Thanks
Luke

Re: District Cooling
That's an excellent question.
It's a curious omission in the NCM that there is no option for adding a district carbon factor for cooling as well as heating. Therefore, I believe your only practical option is to model as local plant on the cooling side and input the SEERs as they are for the existing chillers at the energy centre with an SSEER modified to reflect the decreased delivery efficiency due to the increased pipe lengths.
