Systems in tabular data room

Post by mcbni »

Hello!

I am new in IES and was wondering if somebody can give some advices. I am working in a project and at this stage, I am creating systems to assign them to the room using "tabular data room". My wondering is, should I assign a DHW system to rooms that doesn't have water supply? My thought is no but I was told that is the way it used to be done...

Thanks!

Hi,

For rooms with no domestic hot water supply you can choose to set the system to None or else on Room Conditions tab you can set the demand to 0 and then regardless of if a system is assigned to serve it there will be no load on that system from the room.
