Incorrect floor area for room

Hello =)

I have an issue I wonder if anyone could help me with.

I have created a room in modelit and connected it to the roof space above. The floor area for the room now seems to be taking the roof space area into account which is throwing of all my energy density calculations.

Is there an easy way to adjust this? I would prefer not to have to recreate the room as deleting the roof will have impacts on the rest of my structure. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

If the roof space is supposed to be open to the room below then just replace the ceiling with a hole. If it is not supposed to be open then I would disconnect the spaces and define the roof space as a void.

Hello buddy =)

The roof space is to form part of the room, I thought by merging them without partitions it would have treated the intersection between the to parts as a hole but I take it I was mistaken.

I will attempt to disconnect the 2 parts and try the method you have suggested. Thanks for your input =)

You are welcome.

FYI, when you connect the spaces you actually have the option to remove the partitions but, if you don't, adding a hole afterwards achieves the exact same result.
