Opening Model ERROR

HI

i recently opened a model from our work network, as i opened it it states that "the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process"

i know this isnt true as i am the only one working on it.

so i copied to to my desktop after restarting my PC, i am still getting the same error message when opening. Can anyone help with a solution to this ?

I the risk of sounding terribly clichéd, I would just reboot your computer. It sounds like there is some background process that's gotten itself stuck in a loop.
