BUG: VE MFC Application has stopped working

Occurred after updating a model from 2015 to 2016. I made a few geometry changes and tried to "Generate the baseline model" in the PRM 2004 and 2007 Navigator and this...

I have seen others having the same issue. My first idea was something to do with microsoft services, however, it seems to be a little bug in IES VE. I would recommend you send a support ticket to the tech team.

I sent in the CAB file and apparently the crash was caused by an exterior lighting instance assigned to one of the rooms. I did not change exterior lighting after updating the model so this does appear to be a bug.

Here's the response from support in case others experience the same issue. From Apache...
You will need to remove this external lighting gain from the proposed model last room in the list, then you can add it back in again after the baseline is generated. Then add it to the baseline model as well.
