How to define two heating setpoints

Hello,

I have a rather simple question

I want to set two different setpoints for a room. More specifically:

21C when the room is occupied (i.e. 0:00-8:00 and 17:00-24:00)

and

13C when the room is unoccupied (i.e. 8:00-17:00)

Could anyone please show me how? Making modulating profiles, using the upper setpoint did not work..

In addition, will it make any difference if I want to use different heating periods for weekdays and weekends?

Than you in advance :)

Hi Jules,

That is an interesting occupancy period, what kind of building is this?

As for the schedule that you've mentioned, you need to use an Absolute profile instead of a modulating profile. See image below (in Fahrenheit)

In regards to the different heating periods for weekdays and weekends, yes it will make a difference. After creating a daily profile, you have to assign it to a weekly profile in order for it to be used in IES. In the weekly profile, you can assign different daily profiles for (M-F) and the weekends.
