Baseline Below Grade Walls Definition

Dear Support,

I am working in a LEED model which is partially underground, East wall is totally underground while West Wall is an external wall. I am wondering how can I define the west wall as underground in the baseline model so it takes the required C-factor. Moreover, I need to be sure that such wall is underground in both models.

Best Regards,

Hi,

Usual below grade/below ground VE modelling convention applies here, edit the adjacent condition of the walls you want to mark as below ground so they have a temp set from profile rather than external air, then you can apply the ground contact constructions as necessary
