I'd recommend going through some of the tutorials and other guides, but basically, in Apache, materials are defined in the "Apache construction database manager" (icon is two yellow squares) and then you select the rooms that you want to alter, and click on "Assign constructions" (similar icon but with an arrow pointing from one yellow square to the other).

That could be a lot of things, but likely has to do with how you have your equipment categorized. I'd recommend going through some basic tutorials or training before jumping too much into this, as it sounds like your questions are on some of the most basic functionality of the VE, and I think it would go a long way. It's hard to answer questions like that on this forum

Another question that I have, is there anyone can tell me what is the difference between the condition we define for heating and cooling for each room in building template manager and the same information in HVAC? I mean if we want to define set points in building manager for each room, should we do that in the HVAC as well? what will happen if we define in both of them?

Thanks

the setpoint from building template manager/tabular room data is what defines the range at which the unmet cooling/heating loads are calculated, i.e. you are defining what the thermostat in the room should be reading. The setpoints in HVAC tell the system at which temperatures it should be cooling/heating in order to meet the room setpoint.

And I would like to second what was already suggested in this thread, studying the user guides, and attending some training sessions will help you get started, otherwise it is likely you will loose too much time trying to figure some basic things out.

Good luck
