District Heating and Cooling

Post by awright »

I am trying to specify district heating and cooling for a LEED project in IES-VE 2016. While I've seen discussions online about the CO2 conversion factor, and UK NCM system types, I haven't fount explicit directions on how to specify district energy sources for a LEED project in the US.

Thanks,
Alex

typically guidance on how to account for district cooling/heating will be provided in the LEED manual. In IES VE you can set the chiller/boiler source as District system to ensure the capacity and COP curves will be give a constant output.
