Question on Peak heating and cooling load

Hi all,
I have a couple of questions to ask, I am new to the IES software and as a student I have to write a report in experimental data.
1) why does changing fuel type not change peak heating and cooling load along with plant sens load at all
2) why does making the glazing on the south side larger mean the peak boiler and chiller loads are greater? Shouldn't it improve the design and make it more economical ?
