BUG: Changing Chilled Water Loop Capacity Changes Chiller Rated Capacity

Post by MatthewSteen »

Changing:

Chilled water loop > Design parameters > Chilled water loop capacity

Will change:

Chiller set > Electric water cooled chiller > Rated condition > Cooling capacity

not a Bug. The chiller capacity is a percentage of the total chilled water loop capacity.

For example:

If you have 1,000 kW chilled water loop capacity and 2 chillers serving your building, then the total chillers capacity will be equal to 1,000 kW. They can be split to 50/50 or 70/30...etc
