Apache radiance sensors

Hello,
I was using quite a lot the radiance sensors in the previous VE version (VE 2016) using the Apache dynamic simulation method.
Now I'm working with the new version, 2017.0.1.0, and I'm using the same feature but this time, to simulate 36 sensors, the software took exactly 1 minutes and 14 seconds when in the previous version it could take even hours to simulate it.
Due to time constraint, to test if the command was working, I tried to do the same operation in a test file with a single room, single sensor and random windows and it seems to work but I'm still sceptical that it can simulate a sensor every 2 seconds also because there was no difference between the two files in terms of time taken from the simulation...
Can someone please confirm if it is normal?
