IES VE add-on to Revit

Hi

Please develop some basic add-on that work inside Revit and only calculate the Cooling/Heating Load instead of constructing the geometry using ModelIT or have to deal with importing gbxml nightmares ?

It will be very helpful and affordable for many who are only after accurate Cooling/Heating Load data.

Hi,

We already have the plug-in for Revit which includes a loads analysis capability...note it does work by exporting the model geometry in the background as there is no other way for VE to be able to calculate loads other than to have an analytical model. sorry to hear you feel exporting gbXML is a nightmare, we're working on some big updates this year to really help with that workflow and make life so much easier for those who want to be able to run analysis on a Revit model though
