BPRM Report with Student Version

Post by PRATYUSHA »

Hi ,
I have been using IES Student Version for my research project. In this process I have followed ASHREA 90.1 PRM Navigator user guide , inserted all relevent data & generated BPRM Report. But in the report in Table 1.8.1 & 1.8.2 , Annual energy consumption values for Interior Lighting , Receptical Equipment, Fans parking garage as Zero .

Is it because of the student software license?

this isn't licence related, likely the meters and end uses are not correctly assigned to the gains. You can start a new project and import prototype data then look in building template manager to see the gain definitions, the gain type and meter/fuel should be set the same way so the BPRM report can read them

if in VistaPro you are seeing zero energy consumption for these end uses then double check your model to ensure the internal gain are defined with a schedule which is not off continuously and has a value associated for the gain and for the power consumption
