Weather File for CBDM

Hi,

I've had this question in from a few different users lately and to my knowledge there isn't any specification of the simulation weather file that is to be used for CBDM/Dynamic daylighting analysis. Would be good to hear from our users in different regions and under the various standards and codes applied in UK, Europe and USA etc

what simulation weather files have been used in your projects and why?

Phil

Hi Phil,

I actually use SketchUp/DaySIM for CBDM.
I had to do a few priority schools, and they required detailed window reveals. I found SketchUp a bit easier for creating geometry. Rather than adding lots of components to my IES model.

This means I use energy plus weather data:

Most of my projects are probably closest to the London Gatwick file.
