Relative humidity values

The VE Python API allows users create simple programs using the Python Programming Language, to interact with a VE Model and/or Vista Results File

Relative humidity values

Post by H_THIEBL »

Good afternoon,

We wrote a script in order to extract some variables (Air temperature, dry resultant temperature, etc…). We don’t have any problem with most of the variables. However, “Relative humidity” results are really strange. While results show logical results in Vista Pro (between 0 and 100), results in the text file exported with the Python API are not the same and are not logical (we even have some negative values !).
Do you know what can be the problem ? The structure of the script is the same for all variables, that’s why it’s quite strange that we obtain good results for some variables but not for the others.
Moreover, it seems that the problem is related to percentages or to humidity since we have the same problem with the “External relative humidity” variable.

You can see here a comparison for a room that we did :

Thanks a lot for your help and time,
Sincerely
Hélène

Thanks for taking the time to report this. We have confirmed it is an issue in outputting derived values through the API and it should be corrected in a future update.
