Standard Input/Output Report

I would like to see an input/output report that is created with each results file. It is so easy to forget what values you have changed between models, or accidentally change something that you didn't intend to. Its critical to be able to check this after the fact, through some sort of inputs/output report.

A good starting place would be:

1. Summary of constructions applied- assembly U-value for windows, walls, roof, floors, slab-on-grade, and window SHGC and VLT.
2. Space-by-space inputs, lighting, equipment, people
3. Titles of schedules applied to lighting, equipment, people
4. Simulation settings – suncast, macroflo, radiance, etc.
5. What layers are on/off
4. Outputs, much like the PRM report, but at a minimum showing annual energy end use breakdowns.

This would at allow the modeler to track changes between models, and allow a reviewer to do a high level check without having to open the model. Also, the key is that this is a standard report. Not tied to the PRM navigator, which is used often, but definitely not always.

we have this on our wishlist however please remember ability to add notes to results files was added in VE 2018 so you also have ability to record the key changes or summary of model here before starting the simulation
