I hope this suggestion can be considered as the new feature of VE for better manage a large HVAC network.
I call it as Sidebar common parameters.
When working with system having large number of AHU, each has it own parameters, but they are almost similar, I wish to change all of them once instead of open each AHU and do the same thing with same value for all the AHUs. The common parameters can be placed in the side bar, see image, and link directly to the network via user defined variable.
The side bar can also evolve to have other part, like calculation box for simulating realtime 8760h like BMS system, user defined a parameter and it's calculated by VE profile's function and value from To, Ta, ..., or even linked to other parameters.
