IES-VE User Forum

Hello All,

I have a problem I haven't seen before.

When I try to run a simulation, the Apache Sim dialog opens normally, but the 'Simulate' button (Left of the 'Save & exit') is grayed out.
No error message generated. I am using IES VE 2019, the problem started several hours ago..

Things I've tried:

1/ Rebuilt adjacencies - Doesn't work
2/ Model report check - no serious errors (i.e. external holes)- No help
3/ Restart IES - Doesn't work
4/ Restart computer - Doesn't work
5/ Open an older version of the same project, that worked fine - Doesn't work
6/ Open a new project from scratch - Doesn't work
7/ New project opened in IES VE 2018 - Works
8/ Complete re-installation of IES VE 2019
9/ Open a new project in 2019 - Doesn't work

Any idea what may be going on?

Hi David,

This is something we think this may be an issue with the license keys not getting recognized. Closing your VE and then restart PC woud work for you.
