I have the same issue with SunCast.
When I use the fast calculation method, the calculations run without error message, but when I want to view the results I get an error message:
V.107 Shading File does not match Model
Cause: error in [Windows] header.
You will need to rerun the Solar Shading Calculation
I get the same error message when I want to run the solar exposure analysis, followed by a second error message:
An error occured while processing Shading results.
Cannot continue.
When I use the slow calculation method, SunCast stops short before completion of the calculation and gives me an error message:
A false argument was found
After that SunCast freezes and I don't get out of it any more. Error message:
Ve module switching is not available at the moment
I have tried many suggestions from the forum, but none of these worked:
- I saved all files on a local folder instead of a network folder
- I started IESVE as administrator
- I have reduced the size of the model and centred it over the origin
- I have deleted existing shading files from the SunCast Folder
- I have created a model report, but it didn’t find any problems.
- Also I have tried some key-in commands to repair flawed geometry, such as: clipopenings, build, model, rebuild, rmh, tidy, tidysurfs and tidyunbound, but without success.
- I exported the geometry to a GEM-file and imported it into a new file.
Do you have any suggestions what else I could do to make Sun Cast run properly?
