Hello
I am a very new user of IES and I am trying out Radince simulations for illuminance but it seems that I cannot run a simulation without getting this error. I checked the folder and there is no file .... Does anyone has a solution?
Error: Download failed. Failed to download results for job 9. boost::filesystem__create_directory:Connot create a file when that file already exists: (filepath).

For these calculation I think we had been having a similar problem and what worked there was to change the setting in VE Tasks manager to not try to download automatically. This way the calculation completes in your Tasks area and shows as completed on the Tasks then you can right click and choose Download option as a separate process when the sim is done, then it copies the results files back to your project
If the manual copy fails then you can look in the relevant task folder for more info to share with us e.g.
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\IES\tasks
I see the error references the log file so that's likely the crucial file we want to see if a calc error did occur then it will hopefully show us why. If you can't see an issue zip up your whole task folder for the parent job number of the calc and we can try find out for you.
