Help: External Gain conduction

What is the cause for the external gain conduction to be negative

the convention in VE (Apache/VistaPro) is for positive gains to represent a heat gain to the space and negative to be a loss from the space. Have a look at the definitions online to better understand what conduction gains (internal and external are split) are showing you
