How to Create an Opening Instead of a Window Between Two Intersecting Rooms

Hi everyone,
I am working on a model where I need to create two intersecting rooms with an opening in the center. So far, I have only been able to achieve this by using a glass panel on the ceiling with the command G=20, where the number represents the percentage of the surface.
However, I need to create an actual opening instead of a window. Does anyone know how I can do this in IES?
Thanks in advance for your help!
