Problem with VistaPro Beta
I know that VistaPro is in its beta stage (as the name implies) but I am having trouble getting it to work when I want to see the MacroFlo arrows. Each time I click on the "Show MacroFlo Arrows" button, the program crashes. I have been able to get the arrows when I have a smaller project open (9 rooms) but when I try to show the flow arrows with the bigger project (133 rooms including chilled slabs), crash. Has this error happened to anyone else? Is there a way around this error if I want to only look at a few rooms and not the entire model? Any help would be appreciated. Cheers.
Re: Problem with VistaPro Beta
Hi,
The only time I've heard of it crashing when you try to view arrows was when there was flawed geometry in the model. Have you tried a model geometry check in ModelIT?
I believe from 6.0.3 onwards when a single problematic room causes the arrows to fail like this the <VE> should pop up a message to say what room/surface has caused the error, this will help when tracking down the source of the problem. I've seen it before when a few rooms have been connected in ModelIT and there are a lot of holes/windows in the room.
Hope this helps you track this down, if you need more help send me a Private Message and I'll contact you to get the project from you.
