Hi,
You can draw a roof just like any other room in ModelIt using the same tools. I have uploaded an IES FAQ that gives some useful hints and guidance, download this from
http://upload.iesve.com/uploads/staff/1 ... IESFAQ.zip
We can provide training sessions (whether you are interested in building geometry in SketchUp for import to <VE> using the IESVE SketchUp plug-in or if you want to learn advanced modelling techniques in VE-Pro ModelIT) where you can get modelling guidance from one of the IES modelling experts. More information available form
http://www.iesve.com/TrainingUK/VE-Pro
Hope this helps you out,
Phil

Good morning,
The link that was previously provided doesn't seem to work anymore. Could you possible include another one as my question is the same as the original post.
Thanks.

Worked out how to do the divide command.
Another question relating to roof's. I am trying to do an auto generate roof, with a 1m overhang, it won't seem to generate for anything more than 300mm overhang?
Is this just a limitation of the software? should I draw a separate obstruction to model the overhang/shading. Any info would be appreciated.
thanks

Yes I had a few error in my upper floor where I had not traced a few risers, meaning the roof was trying to meet with these i.e dropping down to that level. Once I had sorted that the 1m over hang worked fine.
thanks
