Good day Everyone and Happy Easter,
I am bit confused whether it is better to use Radiance or FlucsDL for daylight modeling purposes and for compliance with LEED credit EQ8.1 .
What exactly is the difference in terms of reports and results of both modules, and what do you recommend in my case?

The main difference between Flucs and Radiance is the calculation methods used. Flucs uses the point-by-point method (gives options of either No inter-reflections, Average inter-reflections, or full inter-reflections (progressive radiosity)) while Radiance uses the ray tracing method to analyse daylight.
I would generally suggest you use Flucs for LEED Credit 8.1 as there is an option in FlucsDL to carry out the analysis for LEED Credit 8.1, however you may be better of investigating our VE-Gaia product as the Navigator for LEED-USA specifically includes the option to perform a lighting analysis for LEED daylighting EQ8.1.
