i am trying to create a simulation of a natural ventilated building. i have only included the corridors and the central atrium. When i run the simulation it prompts me with this error message: "Plant profile for room 1: no definition found for profile". If anyone knows what the problem is please let me know.

It looks like a profile will have been removed from the project database when it was referenced. There should have been an ID reported as well in the message. Use APpro to create a new weekly profile with that missing ID and this should resolve the problem.
Hope that helps.

I've seen an OFF CONTINUOUSLY profile being dropped from projects (can't remember but think it was 5.9 at some point) but not seen it for a while, maybe Philip or David... why no-one else at IES? have seen it more...
You can fix it easy enough by adding back from the default database again.

Why doesn't the system do it automa
ically?
David? Phil? Next time you are on here I'd love a PM about that.

i have created both a new daily and weekly profile and assigned them to the model, still have the same error message. there is not an ID associated with the error message just the room name and the message. any other suggestions?

You need to re-apply the plant profile assigned to Room 1. Open Building Template Manager and select the template Room 1 is using. Select the the Room Conditions tab then re-apply whatever profile is assigned as the plant profile (usually "On Continuously").

I'm not sure why this happens and I've only seen it a couple of times but I have brought it to the attention of our development team.
